Calgary Stampede Evening Show Tickets - Final Evenings
Calgary Stampede Evening Show Tickets
Witness the excitement of the nightly Chuckwagon Races and then enjoy the outdoor Grandstand Stage Show that follows featuring singers, dancers, musicians, and spectacular fireworks. Every summer Calgary comes alive as the Stampede parades down the streets of our city and homes and hotels fill every room with international guests. When that happens, the Spirit of 1912 lives on; exploding in the fun of the midway, celebrated in the traditions and ceremonies of Indian Village - bursting from the chutes of the rodeo and racing at breakneck speed in the 'half mile of hell' known as the GMC Rangeland Derby.
The producers and production team have searched the world over for the perfect blend of music, spectacle, and heartfelt expression of western values in their effort to make this the most memorable Stampede Grandstand Show - ever.
There are no refunds. All sales are final.

What seats are right for you?
The klaxon blares, and they're off. A blur of canvas and poles fly across the infield as wagons, cowboys and thoroughbreds dash around the barrels and onto the racetrack. For 17,000 cheering fans time stands still, and in less than a minute the chuck wagons careen around the fourth and final turn. Everything begins to move in slow motion... the ground shudders under pounding hooves as the teams crowd closer together and stampede down the homestretch. Four wagons, 36 horses and 144 thundering hooves cross the finish line within fractions of a second.
A rope with a handhold braided in it is wrapped around the bull with a weighted cowbell hanging underneath, allowing the rope to fall free when the ride is complete. The rope is pulled snuggly around the bull's girth, and is kept tight only by the strength of the cowboy's grip.
During the ride, the cowboy tries to stay close up on the rope's handhold to prevent his arm from straightening and his hand from breaking loose. A bull rider is disqualified for touching the bull with his free hand or bucking off before the end of the eight-second ride. A rider is not required to move his feet because staying on these loose-hided animals is difficult enough. However, if a bull rider does spur, he will be marked higher.
In the barrel racing competition, contestants circle three barrels in a cloverleaf pattern. Time is marked with the use of an electronic eye timer. A rider may touch or even move a barrel. However, if she knocks over the barrel, a five-second penalty will be added to her total time.
Wild Pony Racing
Teams of three youngsters ages 8 to 12 try to tame a wild pony long enough to get a rider aboard for a two jump ride. The team with the fastest time wins.
These gritty competitors don't give up easily - so get your cheering voice ready
